New Lamborghini Urus SUV

The SUV to replace the LM002, only 26 years later

Drake’s Take (Why the Lamborghini Urus is an Important SUV)

We have been hearing rumors of Lamborghini releasing a new SUV since 2012 and it is Finally here! This week Lamborghini released the Urus. A 650-HP Twin Turbo V8 powers this beast with an estimated 3.6 second 0-60, coming equipped with of course all-wheel-drive and massive carbon ceramics. It will be sure to travel between Orange County’s shopping malls and hair salons in a hurry.

With many of the exotic manufacturers releasing SUVs like the Bentley Bentayga, Rolls Royce Cullinan, Aston Martin DBX, and the rumored Ferrari Off-Roader.These luxury off-roaders and smaller less expensive models seem to be the new wave to provide the wealthy with all their vehicle needs. Before you needed, for instance, to have a Lamborghini Aventador as your supercar, a Range Rover for your off-roader, and a Mercedes S class for your daily driver. In the not so distant future, it seems like you will be able to stay loyal to just one brand. This will change the Luxury car market drastically by making High-end dealers more a one-stop shop which makes there franchises worth skyrocket and provides better and less expensive services for their clients because they are selling greater volume and more constantly to bring the prices down for the consumer.

This modestly powered 650 HP grocery getter is the predecessor to one of my all-time favorite cars the Lamborghini LM002. The new Urus will undoubtedly be much more comfortable, reliable, quieter, and more refined all around, but is that what we really want from Lamborghini?

Let us know what you think about the 2019 Lamborghini Ursu SUV in the comments below and be sure to check out the two videos of the classic LM002 and the Lamborghini Urus.
