First introduced as the Fairlady Z in Japan in 1969, the Z car has become one of the most popular and beloved Japanese sports cars ever created. This 1972 example is one of the best examples we have ever seen. Finished in the original paint code 918, orange, this Z has had two documented owners in its lifetime. Included with the car is the original window sticker as well as detailed documents and receipts through its lifetime. The car was fully gone through by the owner in 2012-13 with receipts for parts that are listed below. Outside, the orange paint shows very well and looks amazing having just received a full polishing by our detail shop. The chrome bumpers are in good shape and there are no visible areas of rusting on the body of the car. Inside, the black vinyl is in great shape. The seats are supportive and comfortable, there is a new headliner, and the wood designed steering wheel really puts the details inside over the top. The aftermarket stereo works well and the car comes with two more speaker boxes that were in the back but not connected to the wiring in the back when we first received the car. This Z car runs and drives beautifully and is perfect for a person who is looking for a fun classic car to drive. Don’t miss your chance at this wonderful 1972 Datsun 240Z.
