Pontiac’s second best selling car in 1964, just behind the Catalina hardtop, the 1964 Catalina 2+2 convertible gave the drop top experience to the whole family. With five seats and a power folding soft top, the 2+2 brought luxury and comfort to those who purchased them. Powered by a 389 4 Barrel V8 and mated to the automatic transmission, this Catalina cruises down the road nicely and appears to be in good condition. A frame off restoration was performed in the late 1990’s, and the car looks to have been well looked after since then. Outside, the car looks to be repainted with the Pontiac correct Saddle Bronze paint color and chrome shining brightly all around. The body shows very straight and all panels appear to fit together nicely as well. Wheels also appear to be original Pontiac wheels with Goodyear Regatta tires on them. Inside, this car’s black vinyl interior shows very nicely with the seats appearing to be in great condition, wood dash looking good, gauges appearing to work properly, and the power hard top folds down easily.
