This stunning 1988 Porsche 911 has been extensively modified and back-dated to a 1973 911. To start the process the bodywork was placed on a rotisserie and stripped to bare metal and cleaned. 1973 style fenders and RS style front and rear bumpers were then added onto the car to create a seamless body. The car was then expertly painted in a solid black color. Glass remains in the 964 body style as well as main body and doors. Finishing off the look outside are Fuchs 7’s and 8’s wheels wrapped in Toyo Proxes. Under the hood the engine is believed to be numbers matching according to the Porsche red book, and was completely gone through with a thorough rebuild featuring 964 camshafts, as detailed by the receipts included with the car. The also believed to be original G50 transmission was gone through, all new brakes and zinc-plated suspension components and hardware were installed as well. Inside, you will find a fully custom interior finished in light brown leather with matching contrasting stitching throughout. Recovered Recaro seats, a custom carpet kit inside and in the trunk and Rennline aluminum footwell covers finish off the beautiful interior. A Pioneer stereo and Alpine speakers provide great background music, the new upgraded air conditioning provides comfortable air for those warm days and the Prototipo steering wheel has a nice and tight feel around the corners.
