1957 Chevrolet Bel Air – Light Restomod!

Sold

Wearing a beautiful shade of Teal paint, this Bel Air is an excellent example of a light restomod. Under the hood sits a correct 283 solid lifter V8 with the very rare 2×4 carburetor, rated for 270 horsepower. Putting the power to the ground is a Richmond 4 speed manual transmission with a Hurst shifter and 3.73 gears in the rear. To achieve the hot rod style ride height, the car features dropped spindles, Heit coilovers up front and 1.5” narrowed tubular A arms. Outside, the stunning exterior shines brightly with very glossy paint, great looking chrome and Halibrand 15” wheels. In the rear, there are custom exhaust tips which have replaced the reverse lights in the bumper for a much cleaner look. Inside, the story is much the same with teal all around. The vinyl seats show very nicely and fairly new looking, carpet and dash looking great, and what appears to be the original steering wheel. An aftermarket but correct looking AM/FM radio sits in the center of the dash, a Moon tachometer sits on the steering column and all windows have been tinted to help cool the interior. With more than 23 years of meticulous care and maintenance from the previous owner, this Bel Air is ready for a new home.
