Boasting a complete frame-off restoration / modification, this 1971 Bronco has been thoroughly gone through. Found in Oregon without an engine or transmission, the rebuilding of this Bronco began with a teardown reaching all the way down to the frame, which was then powder coated in black. A 351 V8 was rebuilt and modified to fuel injection using a FiTech system. A new aluminum radiator, power steering pump, all new wiring, belts and much more were completed at the time as well. Putting down the power from the 351 is a C4 automatic transmission, transfer case, 9” Ford rear end and new running gear. Up front the brakes were upgraded to discs, new drums were installed in the rear and the full system was gone through as well. In order to better fit the 33” BFGoodrich tires, the body was lifted 1.5” and all new suspension and coil springs were installed. The body was thoroughly inspected before completing the body work, including a new floor pan on the passenger side. The body was then painted in a beautiful gloss black, interior and top were RhinoLined in black and the chrome was all replaced. Inside, the story is the same with all new carpet, upgraded vinyl bucket seats and the original dash still looking great. Finally, the speedometer was replaced after the original odometer broke and was unable to be repaired, at the time showing 31,124. Included with the rig is a very large folder of detailed receipts from every step of the restoration. If you are looking for a Bronco to truly enjoy, this example is a beautiful restomod that feels ready to drive.
